Frequently asked questions
How does Kittyfit determine my undertone?
It combines three signals: a seven-question quiz, a face photo (the color of your skin is measured with the whites of your eyes as a white-balance reference) and a wrist photo (the color of your veins). Each signal is analyzed on your device and combined into one result — cool, neutral, warm or olive — with a confidence score. You can skip the photos; the result will simply be less certain. Good, even daylight without filters gives the best results.
Where do my photos go?
Photos for undertone, wardrobe and outfit analysis are analyzed on your device and are not uploaded. Face, wrist and scan photos are not stored; only the resulting numbers are kept. Cut-outs of wardrobe pieces you save stay on your device. The only feature that uploads a photo is virtual try-on, and only after you agree. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How does virtual try-on work?
Choose pieces from your wardrobe and take or pick a photo of yourself. After you give your OK, your photo and an image of the chosen clothes are sent through Kittyfit’s server to a third-party AI image service, which creates a preview of the outfit on you. Your photo is kept by the service for at most 1 day. The preview is AI-generated and may differ from real life. A few try-ons are free; Kittyfit Pro gives you more.
What is Kittyfit Pro?
Kittyfit Pro is an optional subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks everything in Kittyfit, including more virtual try-ons and unlimited chat with Kitty, your style assistant. Prices, any free trial and the renewal terms are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kittyfit. You can change plans or cancel there; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I bought Pro but it isn’t active. What can I do?
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it, then go to Settings → Restore purchases in Kittyfit. If a purchase is waiting for approval (for example Ask to Buy), Pro unlocks once it is approved. Still not working? Email us and we’ll help.
What is the cloud assistant, and how do I turn it off?
Kitty answers on your device by default. The optional cloud assistant gives more personal answers by sending your message and a short style summary (undertone, palette, weather, city, wardrobe colors and categories) to an AI service — never your photos or piece names. Turn it off anytime in Settings → Cloud assistant.
How do I delete my data?
Open the app and go to Settings → Delete all data. This removes your result, profiles, wardrobe, outfits, conversations and consents from the device. Deleting the app also removes its data. There is no account, so there is nothing else to close. Free usage limits are not reset by deleting data or reinstalling.
Does Kittyfit work on iPad?
Yes. Kittyfit runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS/iPadOS 26 or later.
Which languages are supported?
English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, العربية (with full right-to-left layout), 简体中文, 日本語 and 한국어. The app follows your device language; you can change it per app in iOS Settings → Kittyfit → Language.
The weather doesn’t show up. What can I do?
Turn on weather-aware picks in the app and allow location access when asked (approximate location is enough). If you declined earlier, open iOS Settings → Kittyfit → Location and choose “While Using the App”.
My result looks wrong. Can I redo it?
Yes, you can retake the test from Settings at any time. Try again in natural daylight, without filters, and keep your face and wrist evenly lit.
Reporting a problem
- Your device model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
- The Kittyfit version (shown in the app’s Settings).
- What you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
- A screenshot helps — but please don’t send personal photos of your face unless you want to.
